Making a difference in the community where it counts

Our aim is to encourage local residents to get involved and to have their say on what improvements they want to see. Let us know what you think of the proposed events or plans for the park - anyone can have a say! . Support the events organised in the park. You'll have fun and will be encouraging a community spirit that will benefit us all.

The Park is not a wide open Park, it has gates on all exits. We feel safe to walk in the Park. There are no Kids hanging around drinking or taking drugs

It would be nice to have better play ground facilities for our children’s.

Now's the time to have your say ...

Young people learn about active living, test their physical limits, and develop values about teamwork and nature. Our Park should be a place to celebrate with family and feel part of a community.

Trees are a crucial component of our urban infrastructure. They improve air quality, mitigate pollution. Trees play a vital role in the social well-being of our communities. Trees and open spaces enhance the social fabric of our communities.

I have been a local resident in Kingsbury all my life some 48 years. I was very impressed by the speech given in the Area Forum and the passion in which you spoke about in restoring Eton Grove Park to its former glory. I have checked your web site out and can see how bad a state the park (if you can call it that) is in and needs a huge facelift to restore it again to its former glory. I wish

We are a group of youngsters in Queensbury who play cricket and football over the weekend in the Park on Honeypot Lane in Harrow. We would love to play cricket in Eton Grove Park as it is local and closer if there was facilities. We played on a few occasion on the rundown Tennis court tarmac in Eton Grove and one of us fell down and got injured so we do not play in Eton Grove Park anymore. We have our own cricket kit and if we had a cricket pitch we would like to play in our park. We will wear the kit from home as we live locally and will set up a marquee for our equipment and refreshments. See Picture below of us playing in Nortwick Park cricket playing fields

I am pleased to see that there are plans to improve Eton Grove Park and provide our youngsters and community members with the facilities they deserve. This is long overdue and hope that progress can be quickly made. We definitely need to get to grips with getting our young people engaged in sporting and community activities. These youngsters can realise their role and responsibility to society and can in turn influence their peers and generally contribute towards to a better future for all concerned.

I currently take my young daughter to swim in Alperton and pay for swimming coaching. Myself and other parents with children’s in Roe Green Primary school would love to have a swimming pool in Roe Green Park.
